The Lord Jesus Himself Prophesied That His Return Would Be Through Incarnation

Seeing this title, are you surprised: The pastor has never told us the Lord Jesus’ return is through the incarnation, did the Lord Jesus really predict this? In fact, there are many scriptures that prophesy the Lord’s second coming is through incarnation.

For example, the Lord Jesus said, “Be you therefore ready also: for the Son of man comes at an hour when you think not” (Luke 12:40).

But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be” (Matthew 24:37).“For as the lightning, that lightens out of the one part under heaven, shines to the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation” (Luke 17:24–25).

Here it mentions “the Son of man”, which refers to the incarnation of God. Just as the incarnate Lord Jesus was called the Son of man and Christ because He was the incarnate flesh of God’s Spirit and so became an ordinary and normal man, living in the company of other men. It is precisely because the God in the flesh is normal and ordinary from the outward appearance that the Pharisees and many Jews did not acknowledge the Lord Jesus as God and then even slandered and condemned the Lord Jesus, and finally nailed the Lord Jesus on the cross. Therefore, “the Son of man comes” and “the coming of the Son of man” mentioned in the prophecies all refer to God’s return by the incarnation in the last days. If God came among clouds, everyone would bow down and worship Him and no one would dare to resist and convict Him, then the prophecy of “first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation” would not come true.

Some people may ask: Since we easily produce conceptions about the incarnate God and condemn and resist Him, and God also has to endure the suffering of man’s rejection, why must God incarnate rather than use the manner of the Spirit to work in the last days? Contact us to get the answer.
