There’s Only One True God. “The Triune God” Is an Erroneous Saying
1. “Since there was the fact of Jesus’ incarnation, people came to know that in heaven there is not only the Father but also the Son and even the Spirit. That is, people have the traditional notion that in heaven there is such a God, the three-in-one God who consists of the Holy Father, the Holy Son, and the Holy Spirit. People all have such a notion: God is one God, but this one God consists of three parts, namely, the Holy Father, the Holy Son, and the Holy Spirit, which are conceived by all those who have too serious traditional notion. Only these three parts together are God’s entirety. Without the Holy Father, they are not God’s entirety, and without the Holy Son or the Holy Spirit, they are not God’s entirety either. They all have the notion that the Holy Father alone cannot be called God, and the Holy Son alone cannot be called God either, but only the Holy Father, the Holy Son, and the Holy Spirit together can be called God Godself. Today, all the religious believers and even every follower among you think that way. As to whether that knowledge is right, none of you can tell, because you are always hazy about the things concerning God Godself. Even if it is a notional knowledge, you do not know whether it is right or wrong, because you have been infected by religious notions too seriously, you have imbibed traditional religious notions too deeply, and you have been poisoned too deeply.”

2. “Because you have been infected by religious notions too seriously, you have imbibed traditional religious notions too deeply, and you have been poisoned too deeply. Therefore, you have also been poisoned in this matter, for the three-in-one God does not exist at all, that is, the Triune God who consists of the Holy Father, the Holy Son, and the Holy Spirit does not exist at all. That is altogether man’s traditional notion and man’s fallacious knowledge. Throughout so many centuries, people have been believing in a Triune God like this whom they conceived in their minds and notions and whom they themselves created but have never seen. Over so many years, many great spiritual men have interpreted the ‘real meaning’ of the ‘Triune God.’ But as far as their explanation is concerned, they are ambiguous about the three-in-one God who has different Persons and cannot explain him clearly. People are all puzzled about the ‘constitution’ of ‘God.’ None of the great men can give a clear explanation; most can only understand in doctrines or in letters, but no one can fully comprehend the inner meaning of him. This is because such a ‘great three-in-one God’ in people’s mind does not exist at all.”

3. “Actually, I tell you, the ‘three-in-one God’ does not exist at all in the entire universe, God does not have a Father or a Son, much less is there the doctrine that the Father and the Son share the same instrument — the Holy Spirit. All this is the greatest fallacy in the world that does not exist at all! But this fallacy has its ‘origin’ and is not groundless, because your human ‘brain’ is not simple, and your conception is not unreasonable but quite fitting and ingenious, which cannot even be refuted by any satan. It is a pity that it is all a fallacy that does not exist at all! You have not seen the true fact at all; you have only been reasoning and imagining and then made up a whole set of stories to win others’ trust and to dominate the most foolish ones who have no brains or sense, so that they might believe in your great and famous ‘specialist theory.’ Is it the truth? Is it the way of life people should receive? It is all nonsense! No word of it is right! Over so many years, ‘God’ has been divided by you like that, and you have been dividing him more and more finely generation after generation, even to the point that you have openly divided one God into three Gods. Now people have no way to unite God again at all, because you have divided God too finely! If I had not done this work as early as possible, who knows how long you would go unrestrained! If you continued to divide God like that, could God still be your God? Could you know God? Could you return to your Creator? If I had come a little later, you might have driven Jehovah and Jesus, the ‘Father and Son,’ back to Israel, while you yourselves would have claimed to be a part of God! Fortunately now is the end time, and today has finally come, when I have come to personally do this stage of work, so that your work of dividing ‘God Godself’ has been stopped. Otherwise, you would have divided God more and more seriously, and you might have even enshrined on your tables all the satans among you. All these are your tricks! Your tricks of dividing ‘God’! Will you still divide now? Let me ask you: How many Gods are there? Which God comes to save you? Is the one you pray to every day the chief God, the second God, or the third God? Which God do you actually believe in every day? The Father or the Son? Or the Spirit? Who do you think you believe in? You repeatedly say that you believe in God, but actually you all believe in your ‘head’! You do not have God in your hearts at all! Instead, you have many ‘three-in-one Gods’ in your minds! Don’t you think so?”

4. “If the three stages of works are measured according to the saying of the Trinity, since the works done by the three Gods are different, they are three Gods. If anyone says that the Triune God does exist, then you may explain: What is trinity? What is the Holy Father? What is the Holy Son? What is the Holy Spirit? Is the Holy Father Jehovah? Is the Holy Son Jesus? Then what is the Holy Spirit? Isn’t the Father Spirit? Isn’t the substance of the Son also Spirit? Wasn’t the work done by Jesus done by the Holy Spirit? Wasn’t the work done by Jehovah at that time also done by the same one Spirit in Jesus? How many Spirits can God have? If, according to what you say, the Holy Father, the Holy Son, and the Holy Spirit are three in one, they are three Spirits. Three Spirits are three Gods. In that case God is not the only true God. Could such a God be of God’s original substance? You confess that God is only one. Then how can he have a Son and how can there be a Father? Aren’t all these your notions? God is only one, God’s Person is only one, and God’s Spirit is only one. Just as the Bible records, ‘The Holy Spirit is only one, and God is only one.’ Regardless of whether the Holy Father and the Holy Son you speak about exist, God is only one, and the substance of the Holy Father, the Holy Son, or the Holy Spirit conceived by you is the substance of the Holy Spirit. That is to say, God is one Spirit, but he can be incarnated and live among men and can be high above all, his Spirit is the all-inclusive Spirit and the omnipresent Spirit, and he can be in the flesh and at the same time in the entire universe. Since people all say that God is the only true God, there is only one God. No one is allowed to divide him as he pleases! God is only one Spirit and has only one Person, that is, God’s Spirit. If, according to what you say, there are the Holy Father, the Holy Son, and the Holy Spirit, aren’t they three Gods? The Holy Spirit is one thing, the Holy Son is another thing, and the Holy Father is still another thing, and their Persons are different from one another and their substance is different, so how can they be the different parts of one God? The Holy Spirit is Spirit, and this is easy for everyone to understand. So the Holy Father is even more Spirit. He has never come down to the human world or been incarnated and is the Jehovah God in people’s mind, so he is certainly Spirit too. Then what is the relationship between him the Spirit and the Holy Spirit? Is it the relationship of Father and Son? Or is it the relationship of the Spirit of the Father and the Holy Spirit? Is the substance of them two Spirits the same? Or is it that the Father uses the Holy Spirit as his instrument? How to explain these? What is the relationship between the Holy Son and the Holy Spirit? Is it the relationship of a Spirit and a Spirit or that of a man and a Spirit? All these are something unexplainable! If they are one Spirit, they are not three Persons, because they have the same Spirit. If their Persons are different, their Spirits will be different in power, and they cannot possibly be one Spirit.”

5. “Most people might think of the word God said in Genesis: ‘make man in our image, after our likeness.’ Since God said that he made man in ‘our’ image, ‘our’ means more than two, and since God said ‘our,’ it means that there is not only one God. Thus they thought up different abstract ‘Persons,’ and from that word came the Holy Father, the Holy Son, and the Holy Spirit. Then what does the Holy Father look like? What does the Holy Son look like? And what does the Holy Spirit look like? Is man of today created in the three images and then in the combined image of them? Then is man’s image like that of the Holy Father, the Holy Son, or the Holy Spirit? Which of God’s Persons does man look like? Such saying of people is totally wrong. It does not make sense! It can only result in dividing one God into several Gods. When Moses wrote Genesis, it was after the creation of the world and mankind. When the world was created in the beginning, there was no Moses at all. When Moses wrote the Scriptures, it was far later than that. Could he know what the God in heaven had said? He did not know at all how God created the world. In the Old Testament, there is no such saying as the Holy Father, the Holy Son, and the Holy Spirit, but there is only Jehovah, the only true God, working in Israel. As the ages are different, God is called by different names, but this does not prove that one name means one Person. If that were the case, wouldn’t God have countless Persons? What the Old Testament records is Jehovah’s work, an initial work done by God Godself in the Age of the Law and a work of God in which he spoke and it came to be and he commanded and it stood firm. Jehovah never said that he was the Holy Father who came to work, nor did he prophesy that there would come the Holy Son to redeem mankind. At the time of Jesus, it was only said that God was incarnated to redeem all mankind, but not that he was the Holy Son who had come. As the ages are different, the works God needs to do are different; thus he has to work in different realms. So the identities he represents are different. … At that time, people saw that the Holy Spirit descended on Jesus like a dove, who was not the Spirit for Jesus’ own use but was the Holy Spirit. So could Jesus’ Spirit be separate from the Holy Spirit? If Jesus was Jesus, the Holy Son, and the Holy Spirit was the Holy Spirit, how could they be one? In that case, the work could not have been done. The Spirit in Jesus, the Spirit in heaven, and the Spirit of Jehovah are one, and he is called the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God, the sevenfold intensified Spirit, and the all-inclusive Spirit. God’s Spirit can do many works. He can create the world, destroy the world by a flood, and redeem all mankind, and even more can conquer all mankind and destroy all mankind. All these works are done by God Godself, and they cannot be done by the God in any Person instead. His Spirit can be called Jehovah, Jesus, and the Almighty. He is the Lord, the Christ, and can also become the Son of man. He is in heaven and on earth. He is above the universes and among all people. He is the only Ruler in heaven and on earth! From the creation of the world until today, the work is done by God’s Spirit himself. Both the works in heaven and the works in the flesh are done by his own Spirit. The created beings in heaven and on earth are all in his almighty hand. All the works are done by God Godself, and no one else can do them in his stead. In heaven, he is the Spirit and is God Godself. Among people, he is flesh and is still God Godself. Although he has numberless names, he is still himself, and all are the direct expression of his Spirit. Going to the cross to redeem all mankind was a work directly done by his Spirit. Speaking to every country and place in the end time is also a work directly done by his Spirit. No matter when, God can only be called the only true almighty God and the all-inclusive God Godself. There is no such thing as Person, much less such saying as the Holy Father, the Holy Son, and the Holy Spirit! There is only one God in heaven and on earth!”

6. “People consider Jehovah as Jesus’ Father, but Jesus did not acknowledge that. He said, ‘We are not Father and Son. I and the Father in heaven are one. The Father is in me and I am in the Father. He who has seen the Son has seen the Father in heaven.’ In a word, whether the Father or the Son, they are one Spirit, and they are not different Persons. When people speak about this matter, they make it complicated, saying that God has different Persons and their relationship is that of Father and Son and Spirit. When they say that God has Persons, haven’t they materialized God? They even consider them the chief, the second, and the third. All these are man’s imaginations, and they have no value for reference and are not reality!”

7. “Some may still say, ‘The Holy Father is the Holy Father, the Holy Son is the Holy Son, and the Holy Spirit is the Holy Spirit, and they can be united into one in the end.’ How do you unite them into one? How should the Holy Father and the Holy Spirit be united into one? If they are originally two, won’t they still be two parts no matter how you unite them? When uniting is spoken of, doesn’t it mean that two different parts are put together into a whole? But aren’t they two parts before they become a whole? Each Spirit has his own substance. Two Spirits cannot be united into one. Spirit is not a material thing and is different from the things in the material world. In people’s eyes, the Holy Father is one Spirit, the Holy Son is another Spirit, and the Holy Spirit is still another Spirit, and the three Spirits become a whole as three cups of water do, and thus haven’t they been united into one? It is a fallacious interpretation! In that way, hasn’t God been divided? How could the Holy Father, the Holy Son, and the Holy Spirit be united into one? Aren’t they three parts of different nature? Still some may say, ‘Didn’t God clearly say that Jesus was his beloved Son?’ The word ‘Jesus is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased’ was certainly spoken by God Godself. That was God giving the testimony about himself. It was only that he was testifying himself in another position, testifying in heaven his incarnated flesh in the position of the Spirit. Jesus was his incarnated flesh, not his Son in heaven, do you know? Didn’t Jesus’ word, ‘The Father is in me and I am in the Father,’ mean that they were one Spirit? Wasn’t it because he was incarnated that they were separated in heaven and on earth? Actually they were still one. All in all, that was God giving the testimony about himself.”

8. “The saying of the Holy Father, the Holy Son, and the Holy Spirit is most absurd! When you say that, you have divided God. The three parts into which God is divided each have their own position and their own Spirit. Could they be one Spirit and one God? Who do you think created the heavens and the earth and all things, the Holy Father, the Holy Son, or the Holy Spirit? Some may say that they did it together. Then who redeemed mankind, the Holy Spirit, the Holy Son, or the Holy Father? Some may say that the Holy Son redeemed mankind. Then who is the Holy Son in substance? Isn’t he the incarnated flesh of God’s Spirit? When the flesh called the God in heaven Father, he called in the position of a created man. Don’t you know that Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit? In him was the Holy Spirit. No matter what you say, he was still one with the God in heaven, because he was the incarnated flesh of God’s Spirit. There is no such saying as the Holy Son at all. All the works were done by the one Spirit and were done by God Godself, that is, by God’s Spirit. Who is God’s Spirit? Isn’t he the Holy Spirit? Wasn’t the One who worked in Jesus the Holy Spirit? If it had not been the Holy Spirit (that is, God’s Spirit) who worked in him, could the work he did represent God Godself? When Jesus called the God in heaven Father in his prayer at that time, he did it just in the position of a created man. That was only because God’s Spirit had put on an ordinary and normal man and had the outer shell of a created being. Although in him was God’s Spirit, outwardly he was still a normal man, that is, he became what all people, as well as Jesus himself, call the ‘Son of man.’ When a son of man is mentioned, it refers to a man (who, a male or female, had a human outer shell) born into a family of an ordinary and normal man. So, when Jesus called the God in heaven Father, it was the same as you called the God in heaven Father at that time, and he called in the position of a created man. Do you still remember the Lord’s Prayer Jesus taught you, ‘Our Father in heaven….’? He asked all people to call the God in heaven Father like that. Since he also called the God in heaven Father, he called him that way in a position equal to yours. Since you called the God in heaven Father like that, Jesus regarded himself as a man (God’s son) selected by God on earth who had a position equal to yours. If you call God Father, isn’t it also because you are created beings? No matter how great was Jesus’ authority on earth, before he was crucified, he was still a Son of man directed by the Holy Spirit (God) and was one of the created beings on earth, for he had not completed the work. So he called the God in heaven Father, which is his humbleness and obedience. However, his calling God (the Spirit in heaven) that way did not prove that he was the Son of the Spirit of the God in heaven. It was only that he was standing in a different position but not that he was a different Person. There is no such a fallacy as Person at all! Before Jesus was crucified, he was a Son of man who was limited by his flesh, and he did not have all the authority of the Spirit. So, he could only seek the will of God the Father in the position of a created being, just as he prayed three times in the Garden of Gethsemane, ‘Not as I will, but as you will.’ Before he went to the cross, he was only the king of the Jews, the Son of man, and the Christ, but was not a glorious body, so he had to call God Father in the position of a created being. Then you cannot say that whoever calls God Father is the Holy Son. If that were the case, wouldn’t you all have become the ‘Holy Son’ after Jesus taught you the Lord’s Prayer? If you are still not convinced, who do you say the one you call ‘Father’ is? If he is Jesus, who is the ‘Father’ of Jesus to you? After Jesus left, there was no longer such saying as Father and Son. That saying was only applicable to the years when Jesus was incarnated. After that, when you called God Father, he and you were Creator and created beings. There should never be such saying as the Holy Father, the Holy Son, and the Holy Spirit being three in one. It is a fallacy that is rare throughout the ages, and it does not exist!”

9. “In the first stage when Jehovah did his work, he was not incarnated and did not appear to people, and they did not see what he looked like. No matter how tall or how big he was, he was Spirit and was God Godself who created man in the beginning, that is, God’s Spirit. He spoke to people out of the cloud and was only a Spirit; no one had seen what he looked like. Only in the Age of the Grace when God’s Spirit came into flesh, incarnated in Judea, did people for the first time see that the image of his incarnated flesh was a Jewish image, and in him they found no flavor of Jehovah. But he was conceived by the Holy Spirit, that is, conceived personally by Jehovah’s Spirit, and the begotten Jesus was still the embodiment of God’s Spirit.”

10. “In the first stage when he did the work, he could only be called Jehovah, who was the shepherd of the Israelites. In the second stage, the incarnated God could only be called the Lord and the Christ. However, at that time the Spirit in heaven only said that he was God’s beloved Son and did not say that he was God’s only begotten Son. There was no such saying at all. How could God have an only begotten Son? In that case, wouldn’t God be a man? Because he was God’s incarnated flesh, he was called God’s beloved Son. Thus they became Father and Son. That was only because they were separated in heaven and on earth. When Jesus prayed, he prayed in the position of the flesh. Since he had been clothed with the flesh, a normal humanity, he said in the position of the flesh: My outer shell is a created being. Since I have been clothed with a flesh and come to earth, I am very far from heaven. So, he could only pray to God the Father in the position of the flesh. That was his duty and what God’s Spirit should have when he was incarnated. His praying to the Father in the position of the flesh did not mean that he was not God. Although he was God’s beloved Son, he was still God Godself, because he was just the incarnated flesh of the Spirit and his substance was still Spirit.”

11. “God is the One who rules over all things, and God is the One who governs all things. He created everything and governs everything, and he also rules over and supplies everything. This is God’s position, and this is God’s identity. To everything and all things, God’s true identity is the Creator, and also the Ruler of all things. God has such an identity, which is unique among all things. … This is because there is only one among all things who has such identity, such power, and such authority and who can rule over all things; he is our unique God Godself. He lives among all things and walks among all things; he can also ascend to the highest and above all things; he can humble himself and become a man, becoming a member of men who has blood and flesh, be face to face with men, and share joys and sufferings with men; at the same time, he governs everything, decides the destiny of everything, and decides the direction for everything to go forward; even more he guides the destiny of all mankind and guides the direction for all mankind to go forward. Anyone who has life should worship, obey, and know such a God. Therefore, no matter which part you are of among mankind, and no matter what kind of person you are among mankind, to believe in God, follow God, fear God, accept God’s ruling, and accept God’s arrangement for your destiny, this is the only choice and obligatory choice for anyone, anyone who has life. God’s uniqueness lets people see that his authority, his righteous disposition, his substance, and his way to supply all things are all unique; his uniqueness determines his own true identity and his own position.”

12. “There are many contradictions in man’s sayings, which, of course, are all man’s notions. If they are let go, you all believe that they are right. Little do you realize that such sayings as ‘the Triune God’ are all man’s notions. No one has a thorough knowledge, and their knowledge is all mixed and contains too many things of their own mind. This shows that created beings cannot explain God’s work at all. Man has too many things of his mind, which are all from logic and thinking and are contradictory to the truth. Can you analyze God’s work thoroughly by your logic? Can you see clearly all the work done by Jehovah by your logic? Is it you, a man, who can see through at a glance, or is it God Godself who can see from eternity to eternity? Is it you who see from eternity past to eternity future, or is it God who sees from eternity past to eternity future? How do you explain? What qualifies you to explain God? By what do you explain? Are you God? The heavens and the earth and all things were created by God Godself. You did not create them, so why do you explain as you like? Now do you still believe in the three-in-one God? If so, don’t you feel it is too burdensome? I hope that you had better believe in one God, not in three Gods. It is better to choose something light, for ‘the Lord’s burden is light.’”
