While you are waiting for the Lord Jesus’ return by sticking to the idea that any Lord Jesus who does not descend on a cloud is a fake, the Lord has become flesh and is doing new work. If you still stick to the idea and don’t seek or investigate God’s secret work, your opportunity to enter the heavenly kingdom will go in vain.
Take Noah’s era for example. People of that time didn’t believe the message of the flood destroying the world that God told Noah. And based on what they imagined, they believed that there wouldn’t be flood for it never rained. Thus, they didn’t enter into the ark and finally were destroyed by flood. The reason why this tragedy came to pass is that they held on to their imaginations. So, we should draw lessons from it.
Almighty God says, “Let go of your opinions about the ‘impossible’! The more that people believe something is impossible, the more likely it is to occur, because the wisdom of God soars higher than the heavens, God’s thoughts are higher than man’s thoughts, and the work of God transcends the limits of man’s thinking and notions. The more that something is impossible, the more it has truth that can be sought; the more something lies beyond man’s notions and imagination, the more it contains the will of God.
From this we can see that we will definitely end in failure by relying on our own imaginings and notions to believe in God. Since our notions and imaginings are not the truth, how could we define how God works and how He saves people? If we still insist that the Jesus Coming on the Clouds by relying on our imaginings, don’t seek or investigate the news about the Lord’s return in the flesh and do not pay attention to listening to God’s words in the flesh, then we will surely lose the chance to welcome the Lord and to be raptured into the kingdom of God.
