How to Greet the Lord During His Secret Work
Through the posts we updated these two days, we have learned that the Lord will express His words to do the judgment work for purifying and saving people in the last days, and finally bring people into His kingdom. Then what should we do to welcome the Lord during His secret work in the flesh? Revelation 3:20 says, “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me” Matthew 25:6 says,”And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom comes; go you out to meet him”
Almighty God says, “[S]ince we are searching for the footprints of God, it behooves us to search for God’s will, for the words of God, for His utterances — because wherever there are new words spoken by God, the voice of God is there, and wherever there are the footsteps of God, God’s deeds are there. Wherever there is the expression of God, there God appears, and wherever God appears, there the truth, the way, and the life exist. In seeking God’s footprints, you have ignored the words ‘God is the truth, the way, and the life.’ And so, many people, even when they receive the truth, do not believe that they have found God’s footprints, and still less do they acknowledge the appearance of God. What a grave mistake!”
“Wherever God appears, there the truth is expressed, and there the voice of God will be. Only those who can accept the truth will be able to hear the voice of God, and only such people are qualified to witness the appearance of God.”
It can be seen that in the last days, God will use His words to knock on our doors and that if we want to welcome the Lord and attend the feast with Him, the key is to listen to God’s voice. When we hear someone preaching that the Lord has returned, expressing words and doing new work, we should seek with humility and take heed to listen to the voice of God. As long as we recognize the voice of God from the returned Lord’s words, we should accept and obey Him quickly. This is what it means to welcome the Lord’s return.
